PENGEMBANGAN KAWASAN AGROPOLITAN BERBASIS KOMODITAS UNGGULAN TANAMAN HORTIKULTURA DI KECAMATAN PONCOKUSUMO KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract

Poncokusumo sub-district has a large potential of the agricultural sector, especially horticultural crops commodity that is appropriate for the Agropolitan area development. This study aims to identify the main commodities of horticulture crops and priority strategies for the development of the Poncokusumo Agropolitan area. The analysis method uses LQ and SSA and AHP. The results of the analysis show that the main Superior commodities of horticultural crops in the Agropolitan area of Poncokusumo are apples and cabbage. Priority strategies for the development of the Poncokusumo Agropolitan area can be done with the priority of human resource development; development of agribusiness facilities and infrastructure and also agribusiness development. Based on the priority of these criteria can be reached by prioritizing alternative criteria for strengthening farmer groups or a combination of farmer groups; availability of seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides as well as the development of marketing networks and partnerships.
